PPP leader Sharmila Farooqi, while speaking out against violence against women in Pakistani dramas, asked why husbands raise their hands against their wives when it comes to their dignity.
Sharmila Farooqi shared a photo of a scene from the drama serial 'God and Love 3' on her Instagram post and wrote, When injured, women are subjected to violence and sexual exploitation.
The PPP leader said that what is shown in the drama serial, the majority of people in the society imitate this process. But our writers love to show that.
Sharmila Farooqi said that it is not known why our writers do not show men as polite in their dramas, why they show every man in such a way that the man gets angry and goes out of his mind and starts resorting to violence.
It should be noted that in an episode of 'God and Love 3', Sahiba asks her husband Nazim why she went to the shrine with Mahi on which Nazim slaps his wife.
