Qawwali Night organized by Arts Council to pay homage to Maqbool Sabri
The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi paid homage to the famous Qawwal Maqbool Sabri where Maqbool Sabri's son Shamail Sabri gave a special performance at a function.
Arts Council Karachi organized a Qawwali Night to pay homage to the famous Qawwal Maqbool Sabri of Pakistan on the occasion of his tenth birthday.
In Qawwali Night, Maqbool Sabri's son Shamail Sabri paid homage to his father by singing his Qawwalis with his special performance.
The families of both Maqbool Sabri and Ghulam Farid Sabri were present in the program.
Expressing his views on the occasion, Arts Council President Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that Maqbool Sabri was a great man, he was the best artist of classical music.
He said that the fame given to the art of poetry by both Maqbool Sabri and Ghulam Farid Sabri is unparalleled in the world.
He also said that Shamail Sabri is moving forward with the art of his ancestors, may Allah make Shamail Sabri follow in the footsteps of his forefathers, and may he also get the same fame that he got.
Mohammad Ahmad Shah further said that the support of Arts Council Karachi is always with you, we are very happy to see that the children of the two brothers are together.
Expressing his views, Shamail Sabri said that he was very grateful to the Arts Council. I am trying to carry my family name forward.
Shamail Sabri recited the famous verses of Maqbool Sabri which made the audience sway.
A large number of citizens also participated in this Qawwali Night.
